Final expense coverage, and what it actually costs.
A small policy that pays for a funeral, so that bill doesn't land on your son or daughter. Below are real monthly prices by age, not a starting-at number, and the licence numbers to check us with before you call.

What would move these numbers
- If you're between two ages, you're between two numbers.
- There are a few health questions, and your answers can move it. It won't be far off.
- Every one of these has a flat $3.80 a month built in, which is why $5,000 isn't exactly half of $10,000.
- No medical exam.
What you're paying for
- The monthly payment never goes up.
- The coverage amount never goes down.
- It doesn't expire. It's there when it's needed.
That's the whole product. There isn't a catch further down the page.
The thing people actually worry about
It's not the funeral. It's who pays for it.
The median cost of a funeral with a burial in this country is $8,300, and that's before the cemetery. When there's no coverage, that bill goes to whoever's closest. Usually a son or a daughter. Usually at the worst possible week to be handed a bill.
A final expense policy means that call never happens. The money goes to whoever you name, and they use it for what it's for.
$8,300 is the National Funeral Directors Association's 2023 General Price List median for a funeral with viewing and burial. It excludes cemetery costs, a marker, and cash advances.
What we don't have
No customer reviews on this page, no star ratings, no press awards, no photographs of families who aren't ours. We haven't been in business long enough to have collected them honestly, and we'd rather show you a licence number than a testimonial.
Everything on this page is something you can check somewhere that isn't this page.
If you're checking this for a parent
The two things worth verifying are the licence numbers above, on your state's own insurance department site, and the carrier. The policy is issued by Americo or Transamerica, and you can look them up independently.
Nothing on this site asks for money, a card, or a Social Security number. If anything ever does, it isn't us.
